Komono, a town blessed with a rich natural environment at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains
Komono Town lies at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains in the Hokusei region of Mie Prefecture. The area features a number of famous sights, including the beautiful Mt. Gozaisho, a mountain peak that changes appearance throughout the seasons and is inhabited by Japanese serows (Capricornis crispus; known in Japanese as nihon kamoshika), a species of goat-antelope that have been designated as a Special Natural Monument; Gohyaku Rakan, a collection of statues erected at the end of the Edo period and carved in the likeness of the followers of Buddha, and which are further highlighted by wisteria flowers in spring; and Yunoyama Onsen, a 1,300-year-old spa located next to the pure water of the Mitaki River valley. Although the factory is located in the suburbs of a town, it stands within a blessed environment where visitors can experience the great outdoors. At Densotrim, as we continue to co-exist with this rich natural environment, we are creating the future through monodukuri that brings joy to the Earth and mankind.
