We have been recognized as a “Excellent Health Management Corporation 2025 (Large Corporate Category (White 500)) ”. This is the first certification for White 500.
The Certification System for Excellent Health Management Corporations is a system to honor corporations such as large companies and small and medium-sized companies that practice excellent health management, based on initiatives that meet local health issues and the health promotion efforts promoted by the Japan Health Council. Among large corporations (large corporations), “White 500” targets companies with particularly excellent health management initiatives, with the aim of evaluating companies with particularly advanced health management initiatives and positioning them as models of health management.
We believe that the following initiatives were recognized in this certification.
【Specific Initiatives】
Specific example 1 In fiscal 2024, we established a health score (a common health management index for all domestic Group companies)
Based on the answers given during health checkups, we visualize the status of each employee’s health behavior and promote healthy behavior throughout the Group. In this fiscal year’s health management education, we took up the theme of “Health Score” along with a message from the President of Health Management and introduced it to all employees.
Specific example 2 As a measure against passive smoking, we informed all employees that we will implement a total ban on smoking on the premises from April 2030
In fiscal 2024, the 22nd of each month was designated as a non-smoking day. In conjunction with World No Tobacco Day on May 31, we designated May as Smoking Cessation Support Enhancement Month, and held events for people who want to quit smoking and supporters to work in pairs or groups to help them quit smoking.
Specific example 3 Increased number of visits by industrial physicians and increased number of public health nurses to strengthen health promotion system
We will continue to support our employees and their families to maintain good physical and mental health so that they can live up to our name as a company with excellent health.
